We are registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom.

Our charter is:

"The improvement and enhancement of public gardens and public spaces and the creation of new public gardens, spaces and recreational and rest places"

We are especially interested in self-help projects. Please look at the trust projects for examples of the types of projects we are supporting.

 

 

The Winifred Trust was established in remembrance of Philip (Phil) and Winifred (Wyn) Taylor, long time residents of Utkinton, in the Tarporley area of Cheshire, UK. Both Wyn & Phil loved their garden and Wyn had a lifelong love of learning - so it seemed appropriate to emphasize these aspects in establishing our charter.
